Telia expands its partnership with Caverion in Finland – AI solutions support the maintenance of data centers

Telia's data centers across Finland are critical for smooth communications traffic. Telia and Caverion have in cooperation improved the monitoring of conditions in the premises, which now also utilises Caverion's artificial intelligence solutions.

”Caverion's customised solution is based on building automation, and it significantly improves visibility into the conditions of our data centers. This supports data-driven decision-making and improves the security and quality of the communications infrastructure,” says Merka Hautala, Head of Sites Management, Telia in Finland.

Artificial intelligence and Caverion's building automation solution support several tasks, including automating certain periodic maintenance work, creating new maintenance practices and improving condition management. This saves time, generates savings, and reduces emissions from travel.

"With new solutions, we can get more out of the existing technology. AI helps us to analyse the state of the equipment, the causes of malfunction and the need for maintenance. By making operations more efficient, we can, for example, reduce mileage and emissions, which also supports the achievement of Telia's sustainability targets. We are very happy about the expansion of our partnership,” says Laura Karotie, Vice President, Head of Managed Services, Caverion.
