Our future has a history

Our company is young, but we already have a long history and lots of valuable competence. Caverion was established through the demerger of Building Services and Industrial Services businesses from YIT Group in June 2013. We have a long heritage with roots in many different countries. As part of YIT, our roots go back to 1912 in Finland. In some divisions, the roots of later integrated companies go back even to the 19th century. This tree only shows some of the many acquisitions that formed the Caverion we are today. Through organic growth and several mergers and acquisitions, we developed to become the Caverion we are today. And this journey is continuing with several acquisitions in recent time such as Maintpartner, Huurre and Pelsu, to name just some. While we initially only built water supply plants, today we design, build, operate and maintain user-friendly and energy efficient solutions for buildings, infrastructure and industrial plants– with many long-term customer relationships lasting already decades. We keep building and renewing Caverion to stay at the top all the time with new talent, smart technologies and commercial models, answering and anticipating changing customer requirements. Services Our goal is to be a leading service company and our customers’ trusted partner, and to profitably grow faster than the market Share of 2023 revenue: 65% (EUR 1,620.6 million) Caverion is a partner for its customers within built environment services, from technical maintenance and property management services to solutions based on smart technologies and advisory services. We can offer our customers sustainable, flexible and high-quality service by: being a forerunner in sustainability, technology and digitalisation having a wide local service network. Our focus is on delivering impactful outcomes for our customers, including carbon footprint decrease, energy savings, improved end-user satisfaction and optimal building conditions. Services and Projects for industry We are improving efficiency, operational reliability and maintenance processes and help our customers to meet increasing sustainability requirements and develop towards knowledge-based management and operator-driven reliability. When the customers’ production or energy generation assets and processes operate as planned, production disruptions, uncontrolled emissions and waste are minimised.
