Caverion enters into a comprehensive cooperation agreement with Telenor Towers Norway

Caverion has signed a strategically important agreement with Telenor Towers Norway, covering the technical maintenance and operation of selected locations. The contract period is five years with a total contract volume of approximately NOK 200 million, and with a possible extension for up to another three years.

The agreement marks the start of a collaboration to ensure the efficient and comprehensive technical maintenance and operation of parts of Telenor Towers Norway's infrastructure. The assignment includes emergency power, cooling systems and other technical solutions that are crucial for maintaining high uptime and stable operation.

Caverion will start deliveries as of 1 January 2026, with preparations being carried out during 2025 to ensure seamless transfer of responsibility and operation. All locations covered by the agreement will undergo thorough quality assurance to verify accuracy of existing data and specifications. The transition period also provides time to establish necessary routines, implement technical solutions and conduct training for employees working with these specific locations. By the time the agreement comes into force in the beginning of 2026, all systems and routines will be in place to deliver optimal operations.

"This is a milestone for us at Caverion. We are proud to be chosen as a partner by Telenor Towers Norway, and look forward to delivering technical services at the highest level. We will use 2025 to prepare ourselves in the best possible way so that, as of 2026, we can deliver on all requirements and expectations across the country", says Knut Gaaserud, CEO of Caverion Norway.

Trine Pande-Rolfsen, CEO of Telenor Towers Norway, highlights the agreement supporting Telenor Towers Norway's goal to maintain continuity and high quality in the digital infrastructure.

"Caverion has shown strong ability to understand and adapt to our needs, and we look forward to a collaboration that contributes to stable operations and further development of our most important locations", she says.

Through the agreement, both parties also commit to prioritising sustainable solutions with focus on energy-efficient systems, innovative technologies and environmentally friendly maintenance that support both current and future needs.

With this agreement, Caverion strengthens its position as a leading and reliable partner and supplier.
