Caverion delivers Total Technical Solutions worth EUR 25 million for Float office building in Germany

Caverion has signed an agreement with Immofinanz for the Project Execution of all technical disciplines for the Float office building in Düsseldorf, Germany. The contract is worth about EUR 25 million. In addition, Caverion will be responsible for the Project Execution of all technical disciplines in the future tenant areas.

The building complex, containing six buildings with a gross floor area of about 31,000 square metres, has been designed by architect Renzo Piano and it will host offices, catering and parking areas. Float features high-end design, which sets high requirements also for the technical installations. For example, Caverion will provide the entire IT infrastructure, as well as the alarm and security systems, to make the building fit for its demanding use.

Caverion will start the Total Technical Solutions delivery at the beginning of 2017 in the following disciplines: Ventilation and Air Conditioning, Cooling, Electricity, Information and Communication services, Security and Safety, Automation as well as Heating and Sanitation. For certain areas of the building complex, Caverion will install cooling ceiling systems by Krantz, which is trademark of Caverion.

“We have many references for this kind of building in Germany. And we have solid knowhow to ensure the standards necessary for the targeted LEED Gold building certificate,” says Werner Kühn, Executive Vice President & CEO, Division Germany of Caverion.

The project will be completed in autumn 2018. Immofinanz belongs to Caverion’s real estate investors and developers client segment.
