Caverion to provide a total technical solution for a new shopping centre in Ried, Austria

Spar European Shopping Centers (SES) has entrusted Caverion with the project execution of all technical systems, such as heating and sanitation, ventilation and air conditioning, as well as electrical installation, for the new building of the “Weberzeile” shopping centre in Ried, Austria. The comprehensive electrical installation of the shopping centre includes both security technology and measurement and control technology.

An energy-efficient city centre shopping quarter with a total surface area of 22,000 m² is to be built for a total contract volume running into several million euros. The completion is scheduled for summer 2015.

The shopping centre's energy efficiency will be increased further by an innovative heat recovery plan. The real estate developer and operator SES lays particular emphasis on the environmentally efficient functioning of its shopping centres and has won many prestigious awards in this area.
