Caverion receives EUR 10 million renovation order from Messe Düsseldorf in Germany

German trade fair organizer Messe Düsseldorf GmbH is planning renovation, sanitation and expansion works on two of the trade fair halls. Caverion has been commissioned with installing the ventilation, compressed air systems and sprinklers. The order volume is worth approximately EUR 10 million. The work will take place in short periods between events and it will be carried out between May 2014 and the beginning of 2016.

Caverion will be responsible for carrying out the renovation and sanitation works in both halls, as well as the expansion works on the other hall. Efficient air-conditioning systems and ventilators will be fitted for the approximately 15m-high halls. These systems circulate around 1,500,000m³ of air per hour; a process that is aided by special air outlets provided by Krantz Komponenten which is Caverion’s trademark. Caverion is also responsible for installing more than 5,000 sprinklers in the hall ceilings.
