Caverion to carry out installations for Linköping's new combined heat and power (CHP) plant in Sweden
Caverion Sverige AB has been given an installation assignment for Peab in respect of Linköping's new combined heat and power (CHP) plant. The assignment is a turnkey contract for the provision of electricity, telecommunications, HVAC and plumbing. The assignment will begin in autumn 2013 and will be completed in autumn 2015. The order value is around EUR 7 million.
The new waste incinerator, which will be owned and run by Tekniska Verken i Linköping AB and built adjacent to the existing plant at Gärstad, will produce district heating and electricity with a thermal output of around 80 MW.
– It's great to have the confidence to deliver a turnkey solution for the technical installations for the new boiler building. We have a good relationship with both Peab and Tekniska Verken thanks to previously completed projects, and we're looking forward to implementing this project together with them, says Per Johansson, District Sales Manager at Caverion Sverige AB.
