Caverion has won a contract to design and install building systems in a laboratory for SINTEF in Norway

Caverion has been awarded a contract for the research organisation SINTEF Energy Laboratory project at SINTEF in Trondheim, Norway. Caverion is responsible for all technical aspects of the project including plumbing, ventilation, electrical and gas installations. Caverion also has project planning responsibility for the technical solutions. The laboratory will cover an area of 4,800 m2. The value of the contract is EUR 2.75 million.

"This is an important project for Caverion in Trondheim. SINTEF is an important customer for us, both as a construction client and a property owner”, says Caverion's marketing manager for central Norway, Hans Martin Sivertsen.

Caverion will commence work in February 2014 and it is scheduled for completion in April 2015.

SINTEF is a diverse, multidisciplinary research organisation with global expertise in technology, the natural sciences, medicine and the social sciences. It is an independent and non-commercial organisation. Any profits from contract research are invested in new research, scientific equipment and expertise.
